Lonesome Cowboy is a family owned tack and apparel store located in Lebanon, Tennessee.  Owner, Jennifer Burns, has over 20 years in the tack industry and has been riding her entire life.  Jennifer saw a demand in her area for quality tack used by working cowboys and cowgirls; whether it’s on the ranch or in the arena.  With her love for horses and people, Jennifer opened a high quality tack store for people in her community.  She uses her experience to educate horse owners on how to keep both horse and rider comfortable in the arena and on the ranch.  By listening to the performance horse owners, Jennifer is able to determine their needs to enable both horse and rider to work comfortably and correctly.  She not only wants her customers to look their best, but feel the best.

Performance horses need quality tack that will stand up to the pressures of the competitive world.  Our products last and hold their value; and we have several custom selections that cannot be found elsewhere.

The horse community of Lebanon, Tennessee trusts the products of LC.  One of our goals is to create long lasting relationships with our customers.  Whatever you are looking for, we can sure help you find it.  Here at LC, we want you to find the high quality products that you and your horse deserve.

Along with quality tack and apparel, we also carry home décor that will give your house and barn that “punchy” ranch theme.  LC’s feel is derived from the mini-series, Lonesome Dove, and part of the store was designed after the “Dry Bean Saloon”; which features a boot bar and antique piano.  We carry LC candles, quoted signs, place mats and custom designed cow skulls that are sure to give your home that western appeal.

Thank you for checking out Lonesome Cowboy!

About the owner

Jennifer Burns
Jennifer grew up in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee and has loved horses her entire life.  It started at a pony farm as a small girl where she helped set up pony rides at different events and festivities.  From there, Jennifer’s passion grew as she and husband, Jason, bought a farm of their own.  Jennifer has two teenage kids, Haisley and Caden, and a total of 11 horses.  Horses are definitely a lifestyle for Jennifer and her family.  They enjoy team roping, barrel racing and the leisurely trail ride.  Jennifer’s passion continues now with Lonesome Cowboy, as she assists horse owners with their saddle and tack needs.
